I had book club this week. I LOVE book club. I LOVE the girls in my book club. I LOVE our discussions, opinions and disagreements. We get side tracked, a lot. We laugh a lot. But most of all we learn a lot. It was a great discussion this one was! The book was Mocking Jay, the third book in the Hunger Games trilogy. I have loved reading this series. The creativity from Suzanne Collins is awesome. It swept me away into the future. It's dark and violent, but there are a lot of lessons to be learned from it storyline. Katniss, the main character, is strong yet vulnerable. A child that is forced to grow up quickly. I completely recommend it. It's an easy read since they were written as middle readers. They are making the series into movies. I hope they don't dissapoint. Check them out. Happy Reading!

Loved your post about Kristin. I still can't believe everything that has happened. It's just crazy. She's strong. She's amazing and has an incredible outlook on life. What an inspiration.
