Vegas Turkey Shoot

Cassidy had a soccer tournament in Vegas over the Thanksgiving holiday. Danny and I went with Cass and Michele to help out. We left on Thanksgiving day. We stayed at the Golden Nugget down on Fremont Street. It was pretty nice and very reasonably priced. The ride down was smooth and uneventful. Cassidy's team is no longer affiliated with the La Roca Club, they are now a part of the Forza Soccer Club. They had just enough time to get some temporary uniforms to wear to the tournament. We had a nice time despite the sharp bitter cold wind that Vegas provided. We had Italian for for Thanksgiving dinner that was delicious. (Good thing we had a mock Thanksgiving a few weeks prior when the Amador's were visiting.) We got to eat at our favorite pizza chain, Round Table. That's always a plus. Cass' team won the tournament for their division. It was a successful trip...until we had to drive home. It took us 10 hours to make a 6 1/2 hour drive. There was a snow storm and a back up from an accident in So. Utah. It was a long day. We finally got home around 2:30am. Whew. I don't want to do that ever again. Here are a few pics....
