The 4th of July in Utah has always been one of my favorite holidays! I love the local community days that the cities provide here. We always attend Layton Days, as my Aunt & Uncle live in Layton and that is where we used to visit when living in California. We usually attend the Boy Scout Breakfast, then sit for the very cheezy but adorable parade, walk through the street fair and eat LUMPIA (it's the only time I get Filipino food here). In the past we have hung out at the park all day, but this year we went to Amy's house for swimming and dinner. Then we headed back to the park for fireworks and snacks! We had a marvelous time as usual. I am so thankful to live in this beautiful country and that I am able to enjoy it's freedoms that so many have sacrificed themselves for. GOD BLESS AMERICA!
