My BIG News!

Our newest most exciting news is that I was finally approved to receive dissability benefits! That means that I won't have to work as long as I qualify under the Social Security guidelines. My last day at the Standard Examiner is May 30th. I'm sad to leave the wonderful people that I've gotten so close to, but this has been a long time coming. It was a hard decision to make, but I really need the break right now. My health has improved some with the implant of my new fancy-dancy pacemaker/difribulator. It's an $80k whopper! I told Danny that if we were desperate for money we could hock it. HA! On the good side it will prolong a heart transplant. How long? We don't know, but I'm happy for any extra time before that has to happen. So off I go into the sunset...goodbye 6:30am alarms...hello sleep, rest and relaxation. Although my sister has all kinds of things planned for me to do, so I'm not sure how much rest I'll get. Just kidding.
